FAQ

Q. I can’t afford a bookkeeper but I do not want to do the accounts myself anymore.  What can I do?

A. If you make sure your paperwork is organized and systemized then a bookkeeper will end up costing you a lot less than you think.  We can provide you with details on the best way to prepare your paperwork in order to cut costs. Please email us on admin@accountsstudio.com.au for a free copy of your checklist.

Q. I am not in Sydney but I wish to use your services.  Is that possible?

A. We have a number of clients who are located in remote areas or other cities and with whom all contact is via telephone and email.  Paperwork is mailed to us on a weekly or monthly basis for us to process.  We can then return all paperwork and reports to you once completed.

Q. What are the benefits of using a bookkeeper?

A. Your benefits include:

  • An affordable alternative to a permanent member of staff
  • Less money to pay for workers compensation, holiday pay and sick pay
  • Projects completed before deadline
  • Clear financial records to enable you to run your business more efficiently and effectively
  • Free up your time to concentrate on working on your business
  • Take advantage of our specialist knowledge

Q. Who uses a bookkeeper?

A. Our clients range from sole traders to franchised companies.  Some clients use us on a weekly basis, and others quarterly or annually.

Q. How much will it cost me?

A. Each client is different but you can dramatically cut your bookkeeping expenses by being organized with your paperwork.  You may also decide to do some of the general data entry yourself and just use your bookkeeper to do more complicated entries like journals and reconciliations.  We are happy to talk to you about how we can help keep your costs down.
