ABOUT US

After 7 years running her own businesses Director and Owner Sophie Andrews knows a thing or two about business. Running 3 highly successful businesses and helping many others do the same has given Sophie a wealth of knowledge on top of her already impressive resume. 

With nearly two decades worth of experience in financial and administrative management, nominations for more business awards than you can shake a stick at and many long term regular clients on board for several years, you can be sure of reliable and insightful assistance. 

Based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches we specialise in the Café and Restaurant industry but we also deal with clients from all sectors. Our current clients cover all business models i.e. wholesale, retail, franchises, importers, manufacturers, etc, and industries on our client base include hospitality, photography, food, surf, fashion, IT, construction, consulting and many more.

Our Team

Sophie Andrews 

 

Sophie has over 20 years experience in financial management and runs 3 of
her own businesses.  The Accounts Studio was established in 2005 and is a
leading bookkeeping agency on Sydney's Northern Beaches specialising in
bookkeeping for the hospitality industry.  She is degree qualified, a
registered BAS Agent, and a member of the Australian Bookkeeping Network and
the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers, as well as being an MYOB Certified Consultant and the Treasurer of the Narrabeen Chamber of Commerce.

 

 

Joanne


Joanne is our Office Manager and Bookkeeper and has many years experience in
administrative and financial management and also has experience in running
her own business.  

 

 

 

 

Yvette

 

Yvette's background is in corporate banking and financial analysis.  She spent several years working for EFIC (Export Finance Insurance Corporation) managing their short term credit insurance exposure of approximately $6bn in the food and wine industry, as well as advising and assisting exporters with their export exposure and risk assessments. Prior to that Yvette worked for many years for the NAB and has a Degree in Economics.  She has
several years bookkeeping experience and is our payroll and reconciliation
specialist

 

 

 

Tonya


Tonya has many years bookkeeping experience and is our foreign currency and
inventory specialist.

 Tonya has a wide range of office administration skills and has been in small businesses for over 10 years and prior to that a career in advertising and publishing including  her own production company producing Australian celebrity calendars.Tonya’s skills are now directed to small businesses with MYOB and maintaining financial records including inventory and multi currency and she also has an understanding of retail businesses and the processes of purchasing wholesale stock for retail sale.  Tonya’s administration skills include office organisation, streamlining of account record keeping and tracking payables and receivables.  Tonya also has the skills to produce newsletters, flyers and other marketing and promotional material.
